About ten years ago, I inherited some furniture from my great aunt and it's time for some of it to go. Some of it I'm not sure if it has any value and don't want to start selling things at firesale prices without trying to figure out what I have. Anyone have any ideas about this desk?

Can't tell if this is an old piece with replaced hardware or a newer piece in an old style. More pics will be necessary. In particular, a look at the drawer construction and the back. A view with it open would be helpful as well.

    That's decorator grass.

And it is a nice jug.

Agree with Brad, more pictures are needed to determine age.

From the one picture, my Guess is 1930s-40s.

Please show us the art piece peeking out behind the dresser. The dresser does look newer, pics should tell.
