Indian head Pochantas chairs

    I have these two chairs King and Queen any info would be appreciated..who/what / value Thanks

    Renaissance revival circa 1875. Likely walnut.

    A few years ago, yes.
    Today, not so much.

    Can't tell from your picture what kind of condition the upholstery is in. If it needs to be redone, that lowers the value even more.

    The upholstery is in good condition as are the chairs, but obviously not original. Approximate value? I gather that items go up and down, as interests in different types change? Is there a name that I should attach to these and approximate value? Thanks.

    As I said above .... Renaissance revival circa 1875 and likely walnut. Value is dependent on location and how you are selling. While they may be in good condition, the upholstery fabric is not right for the style and will not appeal to many buyers. I could see these going for under $100.00 for the pair at a country auction. They would ,of course, be higher at retail. Let us know where you are and how you plan to sell to help you further.
