    Some of these unsigned pieces are almost impossible to attribute to a maker or country even. The filigree alone reminds me (a bit) of Portugal, but that's not much to go on.

    One question. In the first photo above the gray pearl (right around "1 o'clock"), it looks like the petal is filled with something -- is there a rhinestone or some kind of stone filling the petal? Only asking because if yes, looks like something might be missing in the petal below it. Am I seeing that correctly?

    This is one of those mystery pieces. It could be American and probably is, but the Austrians made similar pieces. It's not a piece of D&E but it could be just about anyone else. D&E wouldn't have used a foiled, i.e. painted, stone in an open-backed setting. Among other things. The big stone looks like a European import.
