Hi there, glad to stumble on these forums! My husband recently purchased an architectural salvage business, and rummaging around have turned up several items that we have no idea what they are...so hoping to learn about, and share these treasures!

Pictures are welcome and usually a must for identification and information to give back to you!

I'm working on figuring out how to post photos...is it best to post in this thread, or move over and post in the specific forum? Some of the items don't fit, for example, one items looks like a wooden small carousel horse... we have (what we believe to be) industrial molds, possibly african or native american artifacts. We are furniture people, so these items are way out of our comfort zone!

Yes - I'd say post each topic in it's closest related forum - you will get more people to comment that way. And I can't wait to see your "industrial molds" as I've been a pattern maker/foundry consultant since 1985.

Move to the appropriate forum as Rayo said. You will get the right people to look that way.

By George....I think I've got it! As you can see, the "shop" was basically abandoned, so we are cleaning, sorting, pricing and preparing to open in the near future. This decoy... I'm unsure of what category it belongs in...any ideas?

I'll try to add other photos to other categories. Thanks, all!

I keep waaaayyyy too much of my "junque" :) thank you all for the warm welcome. I could post photos all day long, we are just so happy to be taking over this business and sharing with fellow antique lovers and restorers.
