Featured Turquoise and perhaps silver necklace #2!

This is the second one! No markings on this one

(I forgot to say that they are both on silver looking wire)

This one has little disc spacers. The *turquoise* is much greener than my other one. It's longer than the other, (24 ish inches).

(Post edit! I won't do that acetone thing again, I feel bad and didn't do it properly either anyway. I gingerly dabbed. Now the deed is done I feel it's as badly advised as a hot needle test!) :O )

That's on the other one. ( A rising sun and STERLING)...this one has no markings I can see,and I've louped all over x

This one is a beauty, Bou. It is very likely that it is Native American, it is made in the style of Santo Domingo Pueblo in New Mexico, US. But like the other one, we'll never know for sure.
I give it a 98%, and I'd like @reader, who knows her Native American jewellery, to take a look at it. I love Santo Domingo jewellery, it has such a strong connection with centuries of jewellery making.

No acetone please.

I LOVE turquoise, I agree with David Icke :O (in this regard and this regard only!!) , I DO agree it's a magical colour. And it's my birthstone. ALWAYS been my fave colour just LOVE it.

Agree and love this one but green turquoise has always been my fave and I love the spacers. I’d say definitely New Mexican and Santo Domingo which again, cannot be stated and possibly Cerrillos turquoise which for sure cannot be stated.

A good friend of mine is a jeweler from Santo Domingo. His style is more modern usually involving inlay. He is very traditional, but shows his work all around the US.

 

The rising sun one is, I think, a fairly common mark on South West style silver findings. Something in my head thinks it was used by a good quality shopping chanel. The Santo Domingo is lovely.

You can buy those cones wholesale, and many Native Americans use them.

My friends used to call me the turquoise queen. I even have 3 watches with turquoise mounted bands/cuffs to go with different sets of Native American jewellery. Now I don't wear watches anymore.

 

Old habits die hard. I’m always attached to my phone but must wear a watch every day. I guess I’ve finally accepted that my Rolex is just a piece of jewelry and not a needed instrument as much as I always thought otherwise.

 

I don't have a 'phone, and I have a tonne of watches but can't tell the time! Only on digitals so I have a collection of Baby G's,they are my fave watch ever ( ... but would swap for a Rollie, reader if you're up for it?)
