ENPS antique bakelite handled silverware engraved knife fork

    these marking EPNS is this the name of a company or the materials
    The first case seem to be in better shape. The wear and discoloration and split handled are very noticeable in the second set.
    The fish knives in the first set are 8" long and the forks are 7" long

    Does anyone know the manufacturer, materials, types or age would be greatly appreciated

    The EPNS is electroplate nickel silver

    The top handles look like French Ivory - celluloid
    The bottom ones appear to be bone

    Usually cattle. It would be selected and formed by a 'boner', workers at the time would respect and admire a good boner.

    English boxed fish set of almost no value, sadly. 1950s from the box. The other bits have no value at all. I've some of these, in much better condition, but I only kep them for sentiment.
