How would you describe this chair?

    1841A348-D8A7-4B67-963D-C2017E5A8A91.jpeg Just wondering how this chair would be accurately described and when it’s from? Seller says 20’s. Anything worth looking at? I’m not super interested but figured it would be worth learning about as it’s pretty unique looking.

    Yeah, ca. 1900-1910 art nouveauish slipper chair. Agree with Debora re: the upholstery. Quite a conversation piece.

    thanks, can’t seem to find one quite like it in a quick search using that description. Is there any real value here Would you think? I think they wanted a little more than $100.

    Chairs tend to get over-valued. This piece is quite unusual, and worth $100 if you like it.

    I like it but this would be a flipper if anything. Not necessarily my style as far as the upholstery goes and it would be a shame to change it.

    Ca. 1910, original upholstery. Don't know where you are, but if I were selling it I'd put $250 on it and see what (if anything) happens.

    I’m in a good market. The current seller doesn’t seem to be having a lot of luck but their photos and description aren’t good. I’ll keep an eye on it and if I can get it real cheap I’ll try my hand at it. If it doesn’t go well I can always keep or gift it. Thanks!

    It does look like that. It also doesn’t look like it would be too comfortable for your rib cage area.
