What can you tell about this bracelet? It is stamped "AW Hand Wrought Sterling". I bought it as vintage and it was sold in the US.

My first wild guess would be 60s "ski sterling" - made by silversmiths, who cater to tourists in a resort area. I just made the term up, but resort souvenir jewelry gets a little bulky.

Thank you for your answer! Can you tell me more about "ski sterling" jewelry? Would you say it's cheaper and less valuable than jewelry sold in regular jewelry stores?

I thought possibly Southwest, Native American. I haven't found a picture of an "AW" like this yet. I do know Annie Willie, Navajo, signed with AW, but can't find a pic of her mark. Her mark possibly was/is "A.W. rather than "AW." There also was an Anita Whitegoat, Navajo, who signed with possible "AW" ?? also, but can't find her mark either. Wright's Hallmarks of the Southwest, p. 182, has this about Annie Willie:
    "WILLIE ANNIE Navajo
SILVERSMITH: Smith for the Canyon Silver Company.
HALLMARK: Stamped initials in 1/16 Gothic print, first used in 1975.
From Canyoncito, New Mexico or Sanders, Arizonia.

    A.W."

I did for that thought 1st passed through my mind also. I only checked Native American silversmiths. The only "HW" I could find was for a Henry Wilson, Navajo. His mark in Wright's Hallmarks... Southwest is pictured leaned to the right with the H & W conjoined, the right side of the "H" and the left arm of the "W" are one and the same. Couldn't find an example of his work or sig. online. Here is what it sort of looks like. Gee, I'm awful at drawing in graphic programs.

Thank you all for helping me out in this mystery! I checked Anita Whytegoat but her mark was not very similar, but perhaps silversmiths sometimes change the fonts..? I found no picture of Annie Willies mark. I did find Henry Wilson but it's not similar in my eyes. You did a great job in drawing it, Susan!

That's just my term for it. Resort souvenir artisan jewelry. The quality varies depending on who makes it.
