100 Year Old German Book

    Been trying to find out what kind of book this is, I did some image searches and no luck, I guess the internet is flooded.
    Does anyone know what this book is about ?

    Briefly summarised it is a German songbook, a selection of songs from all times of the Christian church for public and private use. A new pocket book edition.

    The contents page page picture is a bit too blurred to read.

    Surely the inner pages betray its nature?
