    Hi All
    I have a medal (probably gold plated)..apparently from (or related to )the Dutch swimming federation founded in 1888 ...however I could not find anything about the medal or medals this federation issues..
    Any help is appreciated to identify the medal..
    Find attached pics of front and back..I have captured the back nicely...the front just
    says "Koninklijke Nederlandse Zwembond " and " opgerichit 14 Augustus 1888"
    In the inside the coat of arms of the lions it says " JE MAINTIENDRAI"...
    Thanks in advance!

    Koninklijke Nederlandse Zwembond I'm guessing loosely translates as Royal Netherlands Swimming Federation.

    Aquitaine and Ladybranch like this.

    Opgericht = founded

    N.K. 1976 = Nederlands Kampioenschap 1976
    = Dutch championship 1976

    EST. 4 x 100 M VL.SL. D. = Estafette 4 x 100 meter Vlinderslag Dames.
    = Relay Butterfly stroke Ladies

    1e PR = 1 ste prijs
    = First price

    "Je Maintiendrai"
    Coat of arms of the Netherlands

    That should make things clear.
