Featured Contemporary Purple Art Glass & Citron Lip Wrap Vase

    Struggling with the signature on this purple vase with citron lip wrap and base, signed and dated 2000. Approx. height 13.32".

    Hi Laura,
    Oh my goodness what a horrible thing to have, it will cause you all kinds of TROUBLE.
    The first thing is to wrap it carefully and ship it to me for disposal. Do not stop to think just wrap it and send it to me for your safety.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    HA!!! I know I am kind of fond of it as well. I have definitely seen the signature before but never pursued trying to find the artist.

    Beautiful photos! O'Dell 2006 sounds possible. Are those letters in the center too?

    Yes that is one of Scott's beautiful vases. Scott O'Dell is my uncle (my mom's brother) and he had a wonderful studio where he created so many works of art. You can find many of his items being sold on ebay and Etsy now.

    As a side note, he learned to blow glass from Leo Ward at Terra Studios in Elkins, Arkansas back in the 70s. Terra Studios created the Bluebirds of Happiness that people have probably seen in every gift shop on earth. He moved to southern California where he met and married Cindy.
