Komo, My Dad had that T-bird, in white with red leather interior. (His accountant had it in PINK!)

Dad got a new T-bird every 2-3 years after that one. (I very specifically remember the '63 convertible - also white with red interior. I also recall how much my mother hated that car!)

His last was a 1969 - the year before they basically changed the T-birds into Lincoln wanna-be's. The '69 got passed down to me, and I drove it until 1977. That was one heavy, cool car to drive.

((SIGH)) White with red 57 T-bird.... I've hung with one too many car guys. That '74 sounds good too, especially if it was a ragtop. Those are starting to be worth real money. They were the last real land yachts.

Oh, heavens, Komo. My Dad switched to Eldorados after the '69 T-bird. They might have been comfy, but boy, were they ugly boats! Oh, how I HATED those things, especially in white with red interior (yeah... he was a creature of habit...)

What I remember most about them was that Dad kept his Frank Sinatra tapes (8-tracks!) in the glove box...

Okay, Lloyd, I probably shouldn't say this, but that's a cute little bike!

Now, many long years ago, my grandmother's sister was married to a man who owned, among other things, a motorcycle dealership in NYC. (He committed suicide when the stock market crashed...)

Anyway, here's a photo of him & his wife (my great aunt) from the 1920's. I have no idea what kind of bike he has here, but I do know that G-Aunt Dottie rode in the sidecar:

Yep... As I said before, Lloyd, they turned the T-bird into a Lincoln wanna-be...

After that, the next iteration was the T-bird Jellybean!
