Thanks for the link cxgirl - I knew early AA books brought a lot but never knew how much until I started looking into this one.

Debora - I am thinking the same thing on the scarcity issue. The seller on the site I linked to says he has only seen six of these editions. I find that hard to believe...but the site does seem to be a big one for AA books.

Thank you fig, Davey, and Judy.

Can anyone tell me why someone would watch a buy it now listing, other than that

    1. they knew the seller and were interested to see how it went
    OR
    2. they had something similar and wanted to see what it would sell for
    ?

It seems like if they were interested in buying it they would just put in an offer.
Therefore, I am always confused when I have watchers (other than my friends :)) on a Buy It Now.

I sometimes watch "Buy It Now" listings for a while if I am shopping around and just want to save it to get back to it later. And sometimes I can't decide for a day or two (or 3).

You also probably have watchers from this Antiquers site who want to see how it goes.

Maybe someone who saw the high price and wants to know how much it actually sells for so they can look for one!

Can they tell the final price on a BO listing?
