Featured Spot the sleeper

With knees and back preventing close inspection of some auction lots on the floor I photo all lots as back up to those I visually inspect at the preview. With 600 lots in the auction it is a valuable way of spotting interesting lots we might otherwise miss.

This lot we bought was 99% garbage but contains a real sleeper.

Reveal on Saturday, can you spot it?

Hi Judy, yes please, I'll post the reveal photo tomorrow. I'm just hoping that none of you spot something I didn't, because nearly all has now gone to the dump!

 

Edwardian jug ??

 

That's what I see also....although it's unclear to me exactly what it is. I'm thinking English or German.

 

I like the groovy specs.

 

The jug is what I spied as well. Jasperware? I also like the beaker on top. Had missed the specs until they were mentioned. There is another older pair at the far right on top the teapot as well.

 

I would imagine it is the jug as well, but i really have no idea. But IF it is that clear glass, spouted beaker above/left of the cheese/butter dome let me know.....................I have one just like it! Or the agate egg as well.........................

Took me a full minute to find the eye glasses, I know little about this kind of glassware so going to take an uneducated guess ... how about those blue plates top corner, upper right?

 

Whats inside the beaker? Is that a fork of some sort? Ivory chopsticks?
