    What information do you need ie other pictures struggling to date this piece. Has been in the family years unsure of where they are from. Have a pair this is the cleaner of the two. No makers mark that I can see.

    It's always a good idea to include a picture of the bottom, and if there are any sort of maker's marks, those as well.

    Can you describe the scene? Is that a winged lion? The work seems to be repousse. Might be mid-eastern, drawing on Assyrian motifs.

    It's not repousse,the design was chased.

    It definitely is darius and the lion looking at these replies, but with no makers mark, unsure of the date would like to know more.

    Without a maker's mark,it could have been made 50 years ago or 3 years ago.

    Appears to be spun rather than completely hand made. This would put it later... 20th century.

    Appears it may have been silverplated.

    Are you in the US? or elsewhere?
    Were they brought here from somewhere else?
