Pretty. I spent $37 at an estate sale this weekend. Got a pile of "spare parts" and some stone beads. One of the spares is a Waterford heart pendant that seems to have been removed from its original hardware. No clue why someone would do that but apparently they did. $30 went to the lot with the blue lace agate and the big green rock. The green aventurine is on a nice sterling chain and the sterling and blue lace agate is on one that sticks like a limpet to magnets. I plan on giving them a divorce and remarriage. The last photo shows two colors of "candy jade" strung with milk glass. It's what I call Random Pretty Rock, dyed with colors not found in nature. Looks good though. Not shown are some sterling earrings and a cutout indian head penny. (one of the rare cases of a coin being worth more when it's been messed with)

Halley's Comet - it was certainly a dud on its last pass. Ever since I started to go to school, I heard teacher after teacher saying "You guys are so lucky, you'll get to see Halley's Comet." Talk about anticlimactic!

First glimpse of that course and speed calculator, I thought it was a collapsible banjo.

I bought a large lot of assorted perfume bottles & stoppers last week. The box came on Saturday & I spent most of the day playing with all of my new toys. ;) :D There were a few commercial miniatures included in the lot, which I do not collect, so those got listed last night. These are the completed bottles that I am keeping. There are also several bottles in need of a stopper & stoppers in need of a bottle that will stay with me. :D:D:D All but the small pink one on the bottom row were made in Czechoslovakia.

Oh & BTW, 2 of the 3 mini commercial bottles I listed last night have already sold for $64.00 more than I paid for the whole lot & are on their way back to France right now. :smug::smug::smug::smug:
