Dutch Silver?

    Hi,
    I wish I had the original glass jar for these but the mayo jar works for now.
    I think these are Dutch marks - lion with #2, minerva head with what looks like a triangle rather than a letter to me and the letter N. Marks are on both the lid and bottom part, also a lion with #2 on the underside of the base. In the last photo there are some letters above the letter N - maybe the maker? The bottom piece is 2 1/4"H. Would this be 833 silver?
    Any information appreciated.

    .833 silver, assayed in Amsterdam, 1948, maker La Court & Offenberg in Haarlem.

    Many thanks for all the information dragonflywink:) Is there a site for looking up the makers of Dutch Silver ( I couldn't find one)?

    On Poisonivy's linked page, in the grey area below the box titled "Date Marking," there is a place to click to go to a Dutch site to search maker's mark. "Zoek" is "search" in Dutch. ;)

    When you get to the Dutch page, if you're using GOOGLE, at the top, you have the option to translate the page into English.............
