Hey, I am sorry if it is not the best place to ask, but I am just liquidating my collection of books, and have no idea of what is their value. I've found examples of prices to some, but I can't get any information about a value of a book "Israels Ritualmord an den Völkern". The book is 1939 and condition is quite weis. Could anyone say something about that? Thank you.
THe book is in the public domain and the contents available online, just how interested would people be in having an original copy? It is a fairly modern book.
You can list it on ebay for the least you'd be willing to sell it for. Lots of people (myself included) would prefer to read from a book.
As Nazi propaganda, hardly salable on eBay. You can find a copy of your book listed in a recent auction catalog here: https://issuu.com/alexanderautographs/docs/alexander_historical_auctions_winter_2013 It had an auction estimate of $200-$300. (Of course, that's doesn't tell you what it sold for or if it sold at all.) Debora
That's the problem with finding prices online. Often, people ask tremendous amounts of money, but don't get it.
Were you able to find another copy available for sale on the internet? Could be quite a rare volume. Easy enough to contact Alexander Historical Autographs and inquire about consigning. They'll have auction history from 2013 and will be able to provide estimate. http://www.alexautographs.com/ContactcustomerService.aspx Debora
I did. Here's another copy that was recently auctioned in Germany. Bidding started at 70 euros and the book sold for an unknown price. https://www.the-saleroom.com/it-it/...0000/lot-0f8e57a4-0814-4baf-bbdb-a49d0160cb44 Debora
This one sold for $340.00 plus a 22.5% buyers premium in Maryland, U.S.A. in 2013. https://new.liveauctioneers.com/item/15419506_israels-ritual-killings-of-the-people
I could go the rest of my life without reading this one, but someone might like it for the historic value. If selling on line, you'll have to be careful; lots of companies don't like selling Nazi stuff one bit and yank it if they find it.
You can't even list American sweetheart jewelry or books about US military units without getting a warning. The only Nazi things I've ever had were some postage stamps my Dad got from a friend during WWII. Those were given away after my father died.
