Thank you, Cluttered. That would look lovely, wouldn't it? (Oh, my - did you see the PRICES on some of those guilloche-topped bottles??? Should I just be happy with my $10 find - in its ill-fitting bottle? !!!)

I have a couple of these stoppers & one is the same size as yours. I tried it with all of my "unstoppered" bottles without any luck.

I think I may have a couple in some other boxes, but it may take me a little while to get to them to check.

Now, Peggy, don't let ME be the cause of unnecessary work on your part! I know (all too well) what it's like to have miscellaneous boxes & bins of "stuff" staring at you, calling your name. (Thus far, I've done a fairly good job of avoiding mine.)

Check this one out. It would easily accommodate the dauber's length. The only question would be the measurement at the top opening.

THANK YOU, Peggy! Oddly enough, I was just looking at this stopper today, wondering if I'd ever find something to go with it...

I've sent a question to the seller, asking for the diameter of the opening. (How come when sellers are selling only one piece, they so rarely give the SIZE of either the stopper OR the bottle opening???)

I looked for this thread just last week because I couldn't remember the length of the stopper. The only thing about this bottle is I wish I could have found one with the engraving like Pat showed at the top of the page.

 

Peggy, I would just be thrilled to find a bottle that works with it!
