Oh, THAT is nice to know......................but how tied to the "without mechanical assistance" bit are you????
Moi? Flirting? Now, that would be inappropriate wouldn't it? Would I, a respectable gentleman of a certain age stoop so low as to engage is such a distasteful activity in a public venue, no matter how lonely and loveless my life? You can bet your tokus I would..................
As I noted on my MATCH.COM profile, looks, good health and wealth are NOT important (any longer) - intelligence, common sense, a sense of humor, compassion and long walks in the rain (yech!) are all that are necessary.........so you are definitely still in the game........... and no, I do not really have a Match.com profile.............. any longer.................
Eh. It's a long sorry tale of stuff that shouldn't have gone wrong and did anyway.(LOL) If I were a horse they'd have shot me by now.
talk about a thread that wandered off into the woods, fell down a hill, landed on the beach, made a raft, & drifted out to sea.........
what if instead of just hot......those wires get really bright inside that bomb....and you're missing a small glass lens....?????
That's a good guess but there is no way for the light to get out. The tube is solid and the rear buts up against a wad of asbestos while the front is locked in by the outer casing. I'm still stumped by the "OAP" advertising on top. The google search engine is useless and none of the air museums have any idea. Still think this thing is really early last century but can't prove anything yet. Cheers Stephen
Could it have been an after market car defroster? This one is Bakelite, but I see them in metal. Is it possible, I don’t know how that stuff works?
