The original (oil on board rather than on canvas) appears to be in the Norman Rockwell Museum. Yours is a print.

With the larger photos it looks like a poorly made reproduction, the beads appear not to touch the stones. The small stones are single cut,the 2 large stones are standard round brilliant cut, could be glass,cz,sapphire, etc. There are "triangular" cavities near the beads with no real purpose, the small stones which are burnish set in the "bezels" should have been larger to fit the bezels,The milgraine edges appear to have cast in the wax original and not applied before the piece was polished.

It's a giclee print. Meaning it's on canvas, but it's still a print and not an original painting. Rockwell's original illustration art for this image was done on board and is in the possession of the Museum. Check out the Museum website.

There are prints on canvas. There are currently over 650 Norman Rockwell prints on canvas in ebay completed listings. I did not search to see if there was one like yours. If the original is in the Rockwell museum, yours has to be a print. It may have some age to it and, being on canvas, may make it more desirable than a modern print but the value is not going to be particularly high. Condition will also be an issue.

Yes, thanks, it is a brooch. It was just my opinion about the necklace; mine was found with a lot of vintage jewelry, some of it was in the picture. I believe mine is vintage. I was treasure-hunting the last two days, again, not much out there, but I did find a few goodies. Happy New Year all!

Today there was nothing out there except the Ill Will locally. I'm currently more than a little beat up and didn't have the "stand up" to walk around far. Found nothing. Went into the grocery for a few things. Big mistake. A physical therapist tugged on some old scar tissue and holes that do NOT appreciate it, and I'm not going to be happy for a while. (sigh) On the other hand, I found both of these this week. Both gold, one 14k and one 10k. The blue one is a star sapphire that I think may be the real deal; the star moves. Paid $14 for both.

Went to an auction last night. There was a ton of old ephemera. I've gotten into vintage postcards over the last few months and they had a bunch so I bought some. The consigner (deceased) was the owner of an antique at one time so there was a lot of interesting small items.

Below is my best score of the night IMO. I was after the Wurster campaign stud and got the group for $5 which was near my limit. Apparently it was a good buy.

Here is a completed sale on eBay.
