Hello, I am Leeddie

I have been collecting art and antiques for about three decades. I am addicted to the hunt. No matter what the item is, painting, porcelain, an old letter. If it catches my eye and, I can afford it chances are it is coming home.
Art is my big weakness, but so is paper and of course anything which has a historical bent. I really do enjoy researching every item I purchase no matter if it was from a known dealer, yardsale or thrift store. For me they are all worth the effort.
I look forward to reading more of the forum questions in days to come.

Welcome, know what you mean about the hunt. Takes my mind off any problems when I'm concentrating on looking and finding so it's therapy really!

 

While growing up, I didn't have the interest in my Mom's lifelong addiction to antiques......but have grown to appreciate them SO MUCH, and since her passing have acquired so many more......it will be a remainder of My life in lifelong learning......this is such a GREAT site for that, and having fun while at it!!!
