I'll take a wild guess, so please wait for input and opinions from others.

    Guesses:
Some kind of blue and white faience Talavera type pottery, the hand painted design has something to do with a mission church, possibly San Juan Capistrano and the swallows (birds). EDIT: Adding this thought...Blue and white Faience from Spain or Portugal.

It seems to have most of the elements of traditional Willow pattern ?

I agree it has *elements* of the "Willow" pattern with 2 people on the bridge - though I think true "Willow" has 3 people on the bridge, water/river flowing under the bridge, open pavillion with 2 columns instead of 3, willow trees, 2 birds flying here and there, etc..., but only a *stylized modern* version of the "Willow" pattern. I haven't a clue of CofO. It could be China, Mexico, Spain, ...???

I'd say that pattern wise it seems more like Chinese Canton ware than willow to me. No idea where this was made.

It reminds me of dinnerware that was popular in the past 25 years or so using stencil designs. Pfaltzgraff had popular Penn Dutch style patterns on similar colored yellow based pottery. The willow and Canton patterns were also pretty popular so I'm guessing it's a piece made in that timeframe.

Persona-n-g & I didn't say it was "Willow" only that it had "elements of the Willow." I certainly agree it could "be anything" and done anywhere. I have searched replacements.com for such a pattern with no luck as well as running a pic through Google Image Search engine with no luck either.

    That is a good possibility.

I didn't mean sound that way which way you think i sound in that post :)

What i tried to say, myself i am located in GB very often i see a lot of different willow pottery..And Chinese, i am positive sure that is not one of them.

As you mentioned when trying to search for similar patterns, i was not able find it myself either.

I think i missed to mention that plate made from faïence

    Thank you for your replay.

    Regards
