Yeah - they do :) - BUT looks like standard 1 inch thick
( maybe 3/4") stained pine, mass produced from a bandsaw cut pattern - I don't see this as being antique. I may be wrong. Maybe someone else will chime in!

In my albeit inexpert opinion :woot: the wood grain looks like mahogany with a very dark stain/patina? Also the few screws i've found are slotted. It was represented as an antique when i bought it, though I could easily be fooled. thanks for the input.

I'm using my phone right now so not the best for viewing but try looking at trestle hall tables and try something like refectory to see if that helps.

Yeah, that helped... I see a bunch of similar ones. So you think this could be from a church or religious bldg?

Your table is often referred to as a sofa or library table.
    I'm guessing time period to be 1920s - 30s.
It could be mahogany, but it might also be walnut.
These are good functional tables and usually sell well. Not necessarily high value $100-175. here in Northern CA.
I like yours, it has good lines

Our furniture expert won't be back until next week sometime.

Oh thanks, I like the look too. So, I assume its american then? Any particular region? And the fact that it is not thick wood like some others, it would be more of a mass produced item like Rayo said?

I think cluttered has this right. 1930s sofa or console table. Little narrow to be a library table. Looks like walnut or some other wood stained to mimic walnut. Likely American and impossible to know who made it without a tag. Many companies made similar.
