I have some still packaged, with soap, talc, unopened from the 50's
I reckon it could kill Corona.:hilarious:

Most modern perfumes have been reformulated. There are many people who prefer the original versions and will pay for them. Older French women's fragrances from design houses generally do better but there are exceptions.

Many fancy perfume bottles are made by Lalique and Baccarat. Check the bottoms for signatures. (make sure they are capped tight).

Like others have said vintage perfume bottles will sell. Sometimes it is a plus if it has "the juice" still in it, but depending on the bottle it might no matter. As with a lot of other things original boxes are a real plus.

There were a lot of perfumes that were made in figural type bottles. For instance Schiaparelli Sleeping was done to look like a candle.

This is another good one, Le Debut by Richard Hudnut. These bottles came in a variety of colors in full size & miniatures.

I sold both of these about 3 years ago on ebay for $95.00 & $139.00.

If you want to take some group shots when you get ready to sell I will see if there is anything that jumps out at me.

I think when you sell perfumes or colognes you give a percentage of how much is left in the bottle. I think there should be some info on google as to how sellers arrive at what percentage is left.
Some older stuff can be worth a lot.

Be warned that shipping a perfume bottle which still contains liquid can only be shipped by ground. It cant be shipped priority mail. (here in the us). Not sure about UK rules.
Anyway, car booting may be the best for you Davey. But please do run pictures of the perfumes by us before you sell them.

What they said. Old perfumes, even dime store stuff, can be money. Show us before selling it cheap. The same goes for the jools. We could have told you to save your taste buds from most of the pearls you tested; most joolies can spot your average fake pearl on sight.

Names to look for in your pile: Kramer, Krementz, Sphinx, D&E, Trifari, Sherman, Ayala Bar, Catherine Popesco, Michael Michaud, MMA....
Stuff that isn't worth enough to worry about here in the USA at least: Coro, most Avon, BSK, Napier, Monet, Premier Designs, most Sarah Coventry, etc.

Perfumes and old toiletries sell very very well. Yes, you're allowed to ship them in the UK, below a certain alcohol content. If you come across one called Meadowsong by Goya, I'll grab it off you very fast.

From a buyers perspective, I hate jewellery all in little bags as it takes an age to properly sort through due to the reflection etc on the bags. I usually give up after a while and go to see what everyone else has got and come back later to the bags.

I spent 4 hours down there today sorting that big crate, although I've made progress in untangling the necklaces some are still intertwined so needs more attention tomorrow.

However I did find lots of other stuff in it and I had 10 cases I forgot I had to seperate them into.

Bracelets, rings, lots of brooches and pinback badges, watches, table & pocket lighters ,buttons, Wade Wimsies and glass animal figures.

The crate is now layered with earrings.

Some of those rings look silver - and I'd like to see those brooches a bit closer, I can spot some Victorian there. I like that Davy Lamp lighter.

The case with the small figurines in it has a nice Wade Leprechaun Cobbler. As I remember the white hatted ones (like yours) are the hardest to find.....could bring 10 quid in UK. I have seen them listed for up to $35 here. I have seen the polar bears too, just cant place them. Maybe early wades? The mother and cub are a set. Would love to get my hands on those Wade or not.
