There is more writing on the book that I can photo and I can also take a look at page 35 or 36 as suggested by Mansons2005. I don't have access to the book right now, but will post pictures later if it may help provide more information.

Thank you all so much for helping me. I have a ton of these books so be expecting some more posts like this from me in the future. :)

    Oh Goody! I loves me some books..................have a few....................hundred........

Not only spent years in libraries getting a doctorate or two, but even worked in them when younger. Started as a page, graduated to reference and research support within a year............LOVED IT....which is why I didn't take it up as a profession...........

I am glad to see there is such an active community dedicated to keeping these relics alive. I just recently started collecting, found a book store that had lots of old books and picked up some I thought may be worth something.

Do you have any general rules you use when you look for vintage books and what sort of places would you go? I found these at a thrift store, so they were cheap; I feel like you would pay more at an actual antique book store. Thoughts?

You usually would at a such a book store but many 'antique' stores just have books that are 'pretty. You can sometimes find a gem there.
Be aware that a 10 year old book may be worth far more than a 100 year old one.

For one, I'm not buying solely for profit but I accept your point; I should know what I'm looking for.

That is the issue, I am new and only know the basics. I know to look for first editions, I thought the older books (if in good quality) would be more valuable.

Any tips are appreciated, I am thankful for all the information you have provided me so far. Especially KingofThings!

    Older books.....???
    How old?
    How many were made ??
It's like VHS tapes.......they made bazillions......but only those sought after...( & you need to research & study to know which those are ;)...) & in excellent condition.....are worth good money !

Actually, even with my severe OCD I have never counted them - Probably because they are usually in a "state of flux". I think the majority of them are pictured on my forum, but that is just the "public" collection. Some serious research and some favorite reading is in other rooms.......................yeah, just glanced up at the wall and there may a thousand books in this room...........

    As suspected... :)
If you don't keep your eye on them and have them spayed/neutered then they multiply.
