Vases with this motif are sometimes described as bulbus sections with scrolling lotus and neck with stiff leaves.

 

I washed the vase and noticed there are these faint areas around the blue patterns that look like remains of gilding.
The glaze is however flawless with no cracks of any sort. I guess that makes it a reproduction.

 

Also described as a gourd vase.

 

I measured the vase and it's actually 5,5 inches.

Any conclusions? Is it old at all or not?

 

I don't know whether yesterday, vintage 1970s, mid-century, ... . The bottom to me looks purposedly roughed up with dirt rubbed in. You might post a query on that Asian Art from forum.

The decoration looks like Yuan style. Kangxi mark. No age signs and quality not good enough for the period. As pointed, foot rim looks like made to look old.
So, likely a recent piece.
