Thanks. It's only a pin ... but now that you mention it, it IS shaped like a fancy perfume bottle, isn't it?

DSCF3222.JPG Not to mention that YSL piece. I'd cheerfully have jumped on that. Today was the annual sale at a local church. On the plus side, they didn't advertise it on Craigslist, in the local paper, OR in a local weekly classified mailer called the Yankee Flyer. On the downside, there wasn't a single piece of gold in the pile. I did however score some silver. I need to resize a few pix, but this one fit. Modern Mexican clip earrings with black stones. Cost a buck or two.

The spoon has damage - there's something gone from the top, but it's silver and has an 1802 Maltese coin in it. The coin would have been worth money had it been left be. As it is....? DSCF3223.JPG

Thanks quirkygirl! Yes, I wasn't sure, to me it looks like the top should come off.

Yes, especially here in the 'burbs of Philly ... where he started. I occasionally saw his mother where I used to work, and BOY she always had such GORGEOUS jewelry (that he created, of course)!

My former employer handled mostly aging stock from jewelers and we seldom got to handle Lagos and when we did it sold extremely fast and well. Yurman was a harder sell because there is some much of it on eBay and so much of it was counterfeit buyers were wary. Yurman sells best if you can locate the name of the collection.

I can't tell from the photo - are the shanks in the cable motif? And is that 2 earrings with 1 pearl each, or 1 earring with 2 pearls?

Sorry, I was off surfing and looking for old DY catalogs ... with no luck finding one with these offered. Anyway ... to answer your question, yes - there's a cable motif down the center of each half-hoop and one pearl dangle per earring. The earrings have gold posts and pearls have gold 'caps'.

not sure if this is what you have, but if not the "mother" collection is probably either Hampton or Cable

    Thanks for that, Mansons! :)
I suppose I could schlep over to the King of Prussia mall and ask at the David Yurman store or at Neiman Marcus. Hmmmm better do it soon (before it gets crazy busy) or just enjoy wearing them now and take them over after the Holidays ;) I'm not planning on parting with them this season anyhow.

    Great finds everyone.
Went to an estate sale today and found some goodies.
Got some vintage shakers-- turkey shakers and bunnies shakers, some bar accessories and 2 sets of those mid century ceramic fish, one is a set of fish and the other are Seahorses that people put on their walls. Took them right off the bathroom walls in the house. Plus I got a couple of the ceramic bubbles that go with them which some folks like to have along with the fish.
And a few vintage NOS sheets.
Was a happy camper with today's finds.
    :)

Awesome finds, all! Our favorite thrifts are so for a reason, aren't they? It has been three months since I've been in mine (distance) and tomorrow is the day for me... it is the one where the gold stick pin/coffin box came from I posted awhile back. You never know one way or the other. But I'm already excited. :woot::woot:
