Going through all my little treasures because climbing the walls. Any ideas on dates etc? I assume the Plazza one is just from a book. The frame is sweet though. 4963463E-2C68-486E-80E3-B8E7456DB4D4.jpeg

The oval is English, 18thc and in the original frame. Looks to be a stipple, Bartolozzi or one of his contemporaries - very often ovals and roundels have the engraver's name along the edge, take it out and have a look. Too bad about the water gilt frame, that's a big chunk to fix.

Wow, thanks. I had an inkling on the date. Fortunately, I have the chunk. I am actually a gilding restorer, Bushman’s holiday....

Verico print. The blue mount looks to be the wrong size not intended for this artwork with the big white space one side and not the other. Have you taken the print out of the frame as there is more obscured text on the left hand side? Could be by Silvestri.

Antonio Silvestri? Can’t get these to go any bigger. The initial doesn’t look like an A though on your print.

The first is an engraving by Antonio Verico after a design by Guglielmo Silvestri, and probably out of a book. Not much value. Not sure of the date - first half of the 19th century (apparently the books illustrated by this and other Tuscan views were reprinted over time).

Haven't found anything on the other.
