Here is another piece I forgot about but found going through old art I have stacked here & there (I was a daily thrift store hunter before corona virus closed them) - does anyone know/recognize the artist? (I tried Y. Okimiti & just Okimiti but nothing)
It's nicely framed W/a wood backing and a Tokyo frame shop label.
    Thanks for any help!

Always liked this piece, remembered it from the old thread last year. Really nice.

No but I think you can search back using your username to show your posts, it would have been in Sept or October last year

Thanks for asking this question, since I noticed how to adjust my avatar while looking for the answer. To find your threads:
    1. On the top right, click on your user name in blue.
    2. Click on the Postings tab
    3. Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Find all threads by journeymagazine."

You can also do that for other people's posts. There you have to click Profile Page first after clicking on their avatar. That's what I did to find the posts, then scrolled through a lot of them! The date range helped. Also, @journeymagazine generally uses pretty good subject lines so I only had to open about 5-6 before finding the right one.

Can you also add this comment to the Support & Testing Forum post I just did on the subject "How to Find a Listing of Your Own Threads"

No, never did take off the backing. I can see that Journey's is the exact same construction, but luckily his piece seems to be damage free.

I had mine on the wall for a while (with the damaged mat) and then swapped it out for a better picture and stored it in the basement in my pile of 5 framed pieces I have no idea what to do with.

I just read all the comments from previous post - and unless I missed it, no one knew who the artist is?

Yes, artist was ID'd as Eiichi Shibuya, but not the same artist as yours. Posted as mine had the same label from the KATO Tokyo framing company. I realize not too helpful for ID-ing your framed piece, but framing is identical.

I just did a bit of follow up online, there seems to be a website for the framer. Who knows if still current (and/or whether anyone is even answering at this time) but since emailing is easy, maybe you could take a chance, attach a photo, hope they speak English and ask if they know the artist.
