This is a hand juicer you can put a glass under. It's about 9" tall and weighs over five pounds. It has a polished pontil. Any ideas?? Thanks! aaaDSC07215 (1).jpg aaaaDSC07220 (1).jpg

I'm just curious but . . . is there enough room/clearance "around" the reamer to juice half of a medium-to-large orange? Or, perhaps, do you think it is only for limes/lemons and perhaps other "fruits" of similar "small" size?

I think it would do a medium orange.

I would think it's a bar item for limes and lemons.
but calling it a citrus juicer.....would be correct..

If it's European, it would be called a lemon squeezer. Might be worth searching under that. French it could well be.

late to this thread. this is designed by Girogio Cugliari for Yalos Casa, Murano. they are cast in an oak mould then acid dipped to give the satin finish. I was lucky enough to work with Giorgio whilst on a work placement withuniversity. i have one of these juicers in blue. it's part of a range of glass products Cugliari design developed with Yalos.
