    It's only 1 1/2" tall:

The stone looks like a ammolite doublet/triplet,hard to see what the trademark is.

You think that stone is a stone? I thought it was just foiled glass. I'll have to take a closer look.

    Fossil shell most likely.

I guess it is a stone. Looking with a loupe, I think I see signs of polishing that I would not expect on glass. I suspect the material is softer than glass. Very possibly a fossil bit. The maker's mark may itself be a stylized ammonite.

Ammolite is the trade name for fossil Canadian ammonite. The material is soft and mostly used in doublets/triplets.Probably a quartz and not the harder sapphire caps.

Yup, thank you for rescuing my brain. A stylised SJC. I like their stuff.

It's a St Petroc cross, by the way.

So do you think this is St. Justin? This design is not currently on their site (that I saw). The sun circles on the crosses they show are thinner and undecorated. On the other hand the interlace on the arms is identical. I didn't see any with a stone center.

I think it could be, but there's other Cornish companies. It certainly has the look of a St J. Email them - it's definitely a Petroc cross.
