It warms the cockles of my heart to see young people getting interested in antiques, so welcome Garett .
Hola, and welcome! Once upon a time a crew boss insisted that I wear a hard hat at a mural site because there was work being done on the ceiling. I wore it over several days; they just let me keep it. Like I got cooties on it, maybe. Anyhow, I still have it. I keep it in the back seat of my car because I feel it gives me gravitas.

Gila, years & years ago, when I was in the commercial insurance biz, I worked mostly with heavy utility contractors. I had my own hardhat and wore it almost every day! It was white with dark green trim and had my company's logo on the front. Wow... Now I'm wondering what I ever did with it... (I'll bet it's around here somewhere, packed in one of those "must save" boxes!) Blast from the past & all that...
Well thank you all and yes I am very fascinated with antiques every chance that I get. I go treasure hunting. Flea markets estate sales yard sales auctions metal detecting my dream is to have a antique store. Sent from my SM-G360T1 using Tapatalk
And to legitimize the off-track, here's an "old" hardhat: (as if I ever had to legitimize taking a thread of track)
