I thought about keeping both icicles and/or Plasco tree. I'm a huge fan of vintage Christmas. Every year two framed rhinestone jewelry trees replace regular art and go up on the wall (one is almost 3 feet high and lights up!) I have one of those tabletop ceramic trees with lights, felt vintage sequined christmas scene wall panels, amazing vintage handmade Christmas stockings, ceramic reindeer with rhinestone eyes, light-up Japanese angel tree toppers.... well, you get the picture. Regular tree (artificial) has a combination of vintage ornaments (the best ones I never sell) and family momentos.

Setting up that Plasco tree was a bit of a PIA and with my luck the cat would swallow one of those icicles. But I'm still tempted to keep one or both since they would fit in so nicely.

I know but I hate Christmas and to push it so early is excruciating to me. Too many years in retail will do this to you. I just started selling vintage Christmas stuff the past 3 years. I have made a bunch of money doing so and can't complain too much. Only one of our thrifts have started putting Christmas out so any early listings I will have most likely will be from last year's stock. Now, where did I put them?

Hobby Lobby has had Christmas stuff out for weeks. Their variety of ornaments is amazing though.
    Dollar tree has started too...
    Oh!
Excuse me! I have to run out to the grocer and get my Easter egg coloring kit before they are all gone!

Some folks buy not perfect ornaments because they make wreaths adorned with the ornaments or use them in some crafty things.
I am not fond of rushing from summer to sell Christmas stuff either but it is best to strike earlier than later as someone posted here.
I sold some ornaments in July, so you never know.

Love all your goodies, very pretty.

WOW!! WHAT a collection!!!!! VERY NICE!! Filigree was the first word that popped into my mind as well, like Brad, but I don't have another word for it!! A few years ago I gave a MAJOR bunch of my ornaments from forever, to a new niece-in-law, who was/is still, thrilled to have them!!!!! Later saw some of them on eBay for around $22. each! But I'm VERY happy she has them! I needed them GONE!! We pretty much do table top trees now.....
