Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with trying to find out the value of a hall tree I inherited from my parents. All I know about it for sure is that they bought it at an auction sale in the mid to late 70's. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Value would vary widely depending on where you live.

North Carolina is a good place for a piece like this as people are still into antiques in the south . I could easily see this in the $1500 range here in florida . Possibly more .Thats just my humble opinion . It is a great piece .

Value depends on a lot of variables and also why you need to know. I can see this at $1500.00 in a nice antique shop. At auction, maybe half that or less. If you are selling, you can't expect to get top dollar unless you are willing to put a lot of time and effort into selling and/or have a little luck. You are more likely to get somewhere between the auction price and retail if selling to an end user. For insurance purposes, I would probably put this at a couple grand. When your parents bought this in the 70s, values were quite a bit higher and would not have been surprised to hear this was 3 grand or more in a shop.
