Picked a Painting

    Garbage picked a painting today and know nothing about it.
    It's 36 X 24 and (in 4th picture) has about a 4-5 inch tear in it as the picture shows but there is a painting restoration shop in the next town over. I don't know if it happened when it was thrown in the garbage pile or that was WHY it was thrown in the pile. 5th picture is the signature on it.
    Any information will be appreciated - even if it is to tell me throw it back away!:)

    It has the appearance of a 19th C. English School landscape, the odd thing about it is the line down the middle of the road.

    Possibly painted by someone who has never seen a road without a line down the middle and thinks all roads have them.

    Is that some figures picking bluebells on the left bank?

    I'm not seeing that but my vision through these glasses ain't that great! I just wonder why he painted a Prickly Pear Cactus into an English countryside?

    2$ ?- I'm going to mix a drink - although maybe the saying "size is everything" will apply here!!?? :nailbiting::nailbiting:
    And if that don't work, in Cleveland,Ohio on TV tonight are the Indians - Minnesota, and Nascar!:cigar:

    Yes but the one in the auction is a print not a painting.
    Yours is a painting right?

    OH BOY! - I think I just picked a bullcrap painting - LOL - This thing is starting to mind me of: OH NO (Not Mr Bill) BOB ROSS!!!!!!!!!

    OH - You give me hope - YES, it's an oil painting on a canvass as you can see the actuall raised brush stroke!!
