    Hi Gila,
The graves and markers were still there 50 years ago. My cousin owns the land now that my uncle died. I guess they are still there. There are so many unmarked graves on property that people know nothing about. When I was a child my grandfather used to dig graves for the local church. Many the time he would uncover an unmarked grave and just box up the remains and plant them off to the side. There was one that gave me almost hysterics. I will tell it later since it happened 70 years ago but still wakes me up in a cold sweat occasionally.

Sweet. Today I did a lot of hunting and not a lot of catching. The find of the day was at the second day of a tag sale. Printer ink.(LOL) $10 in rewards credits from Staples (or they will be) and a good $30 in new cartridges. For a buck. The other find came in the US Snail - unmarked sandcast sterling naja, and a US Navy honorable discharge button. That one's going straight into my hoard.

    Do you mean pin?
I have one of those pins... Mine! Actually 2! One from the active Navy reserve during Vietnam then I converted to regular Navy and have that pin too. :)

It's a button thingie - no pin on the back; it's made like a tuxedo shirt stud. They made them just after WWII.

The one on the left is a pinback. The discharge pin goes in a button hole. Older suit jackets had one in the lapel to display something like this.

I think the pinback is a sweetheart one, and probably WWII. The Army made a kajillion of its version of the button. I've never seen a Navy one before either, but did find one Naval Reserve button. That's framed up with some of the Army ones.

SAM_6511.JPG SAM_6513.JPG SAM_6514.JPG SAM_6515.JPG Hi everyone! I recently found this at an old estate that my mother in law was cleaning out. It is a wooden, Jack and Jill, Tru-Tu-Life dramalogue approximately 5 feet long. Appears to be dated by the person who painted it as 9-15-38. Any idea what I have here?

    Hi,
Grew up with these. They were I think seven different ones. They were based on common nursery rhymes. My favorite one was the cat who sat under the Queen's throne. I think I still had the cow that jumped over the moon when I moved to South Plainfield, Hell, that was 30 years ago.
