Featured Planes, Planes, old planes and Nasa

    Optimized-IMG_1476.JPG Optimized-IMG_E1475.JPG Optimized-IMG_E1480.JPG Optimized-IMG_E1482.JPG Optimized-IMG_E1483.JPG Optimized-IMG_1478.JPG came across this ring binder full of pictures of planes.
    lot of them with the NASA on them. The binder also had two sheets of photo transparencies of some of these planes, including some original photographs.
    not sure if these matter to anything.
    not sure about todays kids though, but if they were to be given to a kid in the 60's he/she would go crazy!

    please let me know your comments.

    highly interesting for aviation freaks.
    even an old Tante Ju from the Germans (Junkers Ju 52/3m) showing up; perhaps the private plane of ze Krauts that brought the US up to the moon.
    for people that research the cold war era certainly a treasure. should go to a specialised auction house.

    @Raji can you read what is says on the sign above the hangar in the picture with the jet and the german plane ?

    @Raji the American Jet with PN-220 looks to be a T-33 or F-80 , both of which my father worked on post korean war era. Not sure if it is , the number and the air intakes seem correct for that type of Jet .

    found 2 more photos of Pn-220 (above) They are about 3 in x 2 in and have a glossy surface on the back.
