Three look like bakelite, two for certain. The bottom buckle looks like Czech glass.

Love those buckles! On the back of the green one there is printing on the metal - maybe the name of the company?

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

    Pretty.
Maize and a bird from the Trogonidae family, not sure which... may be some artistic license at work, too.

Been awhile since I have posted anything here. Have been mostly buying junk since that is all I seem to be running across. Here are a few exceptions.

The junk painted furniture business has been keeping me going but I did find these. Lane perception end tables at $30.00 each. Only needed some minor touch up to sell.

They have a unique profile ....

Set of six Culver Empress wine glasses. $3.00 for the set.

Cherokee pottery teepee signed Bigmeat. Possibly Louise Bigmeat Maney, though other family members produced pottery. Bought for 50 cents.

Veiled Prophet bookrack dated 1907. The veiled prophets are a St Louis secret society with, I believe, a greater emphasis on society than secret. This was probably a souvenir from their yearly ball or carnival. Bought for $3.00 and easily sold at $99.00 (with free shipping) and going back to St. Louis.

Forgot to show this peach luster punch bowl set by Anchor Hocking. Also forgot to photograph it so "borrowed" this photo from the net. My set has 8 cups and is in like new condition. there seem to be a lot of these sets out there in various permutations. Many have a lot of cups with them which doesn't make all that much sense, seeing how small the bowl is. None of them seem to be selling for much, if at all. I will probably stick my set in the store and get what I can out of it. Should do OK since it was a $5.00 purchase for the set.
