    Hi everyone,

First I came for your brains, now I want your stuff!

You have all been so great providing me information and background on things I bought. Now I am hoping you can help feed my collection.

As much as I try to fight it, I have a serious map habit. I just can't help myself.

I am mostly interested in pre 1930s maps, unless it is an exceptional specimen. Railroad maps or travel/communications related are especially desirable.

Not so interested in Ontario/Quebec, Upper and Lower Canada, again unless they are exceptional.

Hahahaha... Upper and Lower Canada are already well represented in my collection, being in Southern Ontario they are abundant.

Are you still interested in maps? My dad has one from the second World War of Libya that you might like.

@PDProps He says he is probably going to put it on Ebay tonight. I'll send you the link when he does.

It is a rare, unpublished British Army 1-500000 Libya/Benghazi with coding grids. It is a very delicate item as it had obviously been used, and as such, has some significant signs of wear.

My dad has pictures of it, and if I can get them off him beforehand, you will be able to have a good look at it and see what you think.

@komokwa It's not my item. My dad only just decided to put it on Ebay. He probably thinks it will accumulate bids, and he doesn't want to take the risk in undercutting himself. I would've just sold it here to get rid of it, personally.

However, it may not garner much interest, so it's certainly worth keeping an eye on.

You never can tell. Old military and railroad stuff can attract rabid bidders. (gotta love it when that happens, and it's your stuff)
