The same person ?

Have two old photo's and the look like the other person next to them . But is it them of just lookalikes off them ? So help needed

 

Comparing the hairlines of the first pair & the ears & eyebrows of the second, I would say no, they are not the same man.

 

Comparing the first couple, I'd say it's possible, but not sure.....the smaller image on the left is definitely older with, as Bronwen mentioned, a slightly more receding hairline, AND a slight cleft showing that isn't showing in the image on the right....which could also be lighting....the shoulder slope looks the SAME.....but I'm going to have to vote MAYBE.....sorry!!

 

The second comparison pair, I DO think is the same person.........

I don't think they are the same either. Photo 1 fellow has a pronounced Widow's peak which isn't present in the second man's photo. Also the man in the second photo has a wider nose.

In the second set; the eyebrows and lower lips are different.

Uncanny similarity though...

Still think when you think off that time and the retouching off photo's done in that time the could be still the ones . Touching up photo's was a common way by photographers in that time to make the best picture . And going to check further on the Internet off course . the eyes don't fit.
