And that, as they say, is a good thing in this case. Busy means money. If you have biker pins, those could be the money in the lot. Motorcycle collectors can be rabid.

Rat fink! Gotta love it. Get a few vintage pieces like this, or some Von Dutch stuff, and hold onto your seat.

I got a Disneyland t-shirt in junior high. Wish I still had that; it's probably worth something now.

Well if anyone is interested here is a link to the auction we are running these medals in. I have pretty much concluded these are mainly legion medals from France. At least I think thats what they are. I must say this auction is off to a great start. If all I had to sell was coins and Rolex watches I would probably be a wealthy auctioneer. We should be getting a lot more coins and more Rolex watches in the future gosh they are easy to move. Sigh. LOL! I had the die cast car auction tonight... never again will I accept hot wheels. Lesson learned. Utter garbage. We did sell most the ERTL banks which surprised me cause I didn't think they would sell at all.

One note - that Forsining Wactch I'd have listed as a skeleton watch. Skeleton watches move; they're the ones with clear faces so you can see the movement. This one wasn't old, so it might not have helped much.

Thanks I will add that to the description. It is a pretty cool watch but you are right it's not old. I don't know how we ended up with so many watches this month. Last month it was chickens and the month before that elephants. It's kind of funny the way that works. LOL!

If you get a load of pocket watches, sit back and watch (ahem) the fun, at least if they're old ones. The dollar watches don't sell for real money, but nice ones ... fur will fly.

Funny you mentioned that we have a load of them coming in a couple of days I can't remember the exact number around 60 I think but they are all supposed to be pretty old. They are coming from the same guy who has supplied our last couple of Rolex watches and a lot of our coins he always has good stuff and he is very reasonable on his expectations. Usually he is like whatever just sell it. Which I love. He deals in gold and silver and so he comes across nice watches from time to time so he said from now on he will just send them to us.

^5! You'll have to post some of them. I know a few watch guys and picked up a few things. Other people will probably know a lot more. Gold cases, especially railroad watches, can be a license to coin money. It depends on who made it of course.

Well I think I finally got all those medals sorted out. Not the most fun thing I have ever done. It isn't easy to look up medals with no info to go on. Some of them were so old that the words had just about been worn off making finding them even harder. As if being a different language didn't make it hard enough already. I did find at least one US medal in the bunch. They are mostly French with a couple of Soviet Union Medals, 1 Italian, and 1 Nazi Germany which I had incorrectly attributed to the French at first. Glad I got that one fixed. There were just a couple that I couldn't track down. As far as all the pendants I am just going to let them ride there is no way I have enough time to sort them all out. They are in lots of 10 anyways and I figure that anyone that knows what those medals are will most likely know what most those pins are. Surprisingly I think all of them have at least 1 bid so far. Fingers crossed these medals do pretty well. Maybe they will do better now that they have actual descriptions. LOL! I may actually sell all the lots in this auction which would be a first. Well, except the stupid collectible plates.

I was surprised to see that a couple of those got bids too. I really didn't think they would which is why I put them all at the end of the auction cause I figured if I was going to be passing them then at least I wouldn't be hindering the good stuff. I didn't want the plates but it was a package deal with the medals so I kind of got stuck with them. I am sure the seller is going to be upset when I call her to come pick the bulk of them back up to stick back in her garage or hey she could always take them to Goodwill. LOL! I absolutely hate collectible plates. I think they might make good target practice for someone though. LOL! PULL! Hmmm? That could be a lot of fun actually. Maybe I should market them that way. I would probably have a better chance of selling them.
