I have a print that is on Ven Gelder Zonan laid paper with their fleur-de-lys crown watermark. But it also has an embossrd blind stamp in the lower right corner which I have not been able to track down. Image attached. It's about an inch tall. It's definitely from 1900-2000 some time. Does this look familiar to anyone or any leads on how to track it down? Thank you very much!

Why not show the whole image for context?

I don't want people to get distracted trying to id other elements of the piece, just trying to focus on the stamp, thanks

Megan, we don't get distracted. As above, please be kind enough to post photographs of the print itself. What we like to see is photographs of the print, front and back including frame, a close-up of the signature and close-up photographs of any stickers, labels or handwritten notations. That gives us the best information possible and helps us help you. With thanks.

Ok, got it - sorry, first time poster! It's at my mother's so I don't have more photos now but will try to get them. There are no labels, stickers, hand written notes of any kind any where on it. Thanks

With a stamp like that......we won't be distracted by anything else.....
( unless the print itself depicts bestiality of an even wilder sort !!!:eek:..)

But we'll need to inspect it all the same...:jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:

    Welcome Megan.
The name is Van Gelder en Zonen, correct spelling helps in your search.;)
There is a museum on paper history in the Netherlands, you could ask them, they have archives of Van Gelder en Zonen watermarks and stamps:

The picture is quite tame!! I got my mother to send a photo. Print of Renoir's Laundresses 2. I had just already spent a lot of time tracking down the artist the picture and the paper and was looking for your brilliant assistance on the mark. That's all I meant by distraction! Haha. Thanks so much really appreciate the help!
