Featured Antique ceramic vase. Thoughts?

    What can you tell me about this ceramic vase? It is fairly large, just over 12". Has a molding seam, if I'm saying that correctly. (See photo #2) Someone has written a name on the base (hard to read), with "1907" in pencil. I realize that the markings on the base were probably added later, possibly by family.

    It looks like Weller Hudson. My book says 13 1/2".

    It also says Hudson was introduced in the '20s; Wiki says 1917.

    Thank you both so much! And yes, just checked, it is 13.5" exactly.

    No chips or cracks, but a few light scuffs on the back on the matte finish, but sounds like it might be worth posting.

    This is what has been so valuable to me about this board. My eye is good enough I know to pick up something based on a hunch, with the understanding I can bring here for the experts to take a look. Thank you. MUCH APPRECIATED. :):):)
