Featured Antique ceramic vase. Thoughts?

What can you tell me about this ceramic vase? It is fairly large, just over 12". Has a molding seam, if I'm saying that correctly. (See photo #2) Someone has written a name on the base (hard to read), with "1907" in pencil. I realize that the markings on the base were probably added later, possibly by family.

It looks like Weller Hudson. My book says 13 1/2".

 

Vellum glaze from the look of it. This one isn't quite identical; it's in a closed auction from 2011 and quite a bit smaller. The decoration is pretty darned close however. http://www.treadwaygallery.com/lotInfo.php?i=29994#.V26-KRUrIdU

 

It also says Hudson was introduced in the '20s; Wiki says 1917.

No chips or cracks, but a few light scuffs on the back on the matte finish, but sounds like it might be worth posting.
