This thread reminded me that somewhere I have a little victorian hankie, Years ago I bought a black victorian skirt and in the pocket was this little hankie, The lady who once owned the skirt must have had a name beginning with M, Its so delicate and beautifully made.

Poisonivy, that is a very pretty handkerchief. The monogram is one of the loveliest I have seen in a long, long time. ;)

Yes the monogram is lovely, It was a nice little find in the pocket, Usually things don't get left like that.

    Some recent finds.
    1) I had no intention of going to the far corner of Value Village but this 10" tall, hand made lamp, screamed out to me. You can see why on the bottom. :)

    2) I had to buy this necklace and earring set. Supposedly they were worn by the G-saler's Mom long ago. The box is newer.
    No Komo...they don't fit me. ;)

I can see why you grabbed the lamp - probably high school woodworking class/shop project stuff. My dad made one in high school too, about ten years later. No clue about who made the Wiesner set, but it's nice. There was another company called Joseph Wiesner, but this isn't his mark.

Opalite glass goes with everything. Except maybe BDUs, and even those if you're off duty.

    Hi KoT,
I made the same lamp in school in 1945. Thanks for the memory jog. I remember being yelled at by the shop teacher for using the vertical sander instead of hand sanding.

Nothing fazes us. We know who we are.
Such things are just amusing to us. Others don't get it... We don't care. :)
