Black amethyst vase - maker? age?

It's 7.75 inches tall (20cm). I found the identical flower design on a differently shaped vase which the seller identified only as "vintage".

 

The decoration looks decal rather than hand paint and may have been added by a company other than the maker of the glass. The first maker I check for stuff like this is LE Smith, but they weren't the only one.

Not hand done, as I saw identical on a different piece, which now I can't find of course ! (when will I learn to bookmark?)

 

I find it sad that it is so dark one can't appreciate the purple without intense light. In store lighting there was only the merest hint of purple.

 

Here - same flowers, different shape. Trying simply to match my shape to a maker but striking out on every word combo I try.

 

So far as the color of the glass is concerned: I believe that the intent was to have it appear black. Had they wanted it to appear amethyst, they knew how. The same decoration on that other vase supports the idea that the decoration is a fired-on decal.
