Free Costa Rican pottery (but please pay for priority mail shipping) ca, 3.5" high x ca. 4.5" wide signed (I think!) by the artist, "from the town famous for its pottery in the pre-Columbian Chorotega style" (Wikipedia) I don't see or feel any flaws in the very nice piece.

I will leave this up until the evening of Monday, Jan. 20 and if there is interest from more than one person I will draw names from a hat...or something. Thanks!

I honestly wouldn't know what to do with it if I had it, but someone will be along.

Awww...thank you. You are so sweet to post that, but I promise I won’t be the least but offended if no one has any interest in it...or anything I offer here. If no one is interested it will go to the church rummage sale. I am just happy to offer things here first in case there is something someone here will enjoy or can make a little money on. It would be a small repayment for all the valuable information I have gleaned on these forums.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I'm interested! Although I don't generally collect things like this, it's nice. So count me in.

Thank you very much, fig. If you will send a message with your address I will send it — and a small additional item — promptly and I will pay the postage. Please feel free to do as you like with the two items, whether it is keeping or selling them.

Dear @morgen94 , the pottery piece arrived today, along with the extra item (a Chinese or Japanese strip of embroidered silk? fabric). Thank you very much! The pot looks better than in the pictures, and I've already found a place to display it. Not sure what to do with the fabric yet, but will think of something. It's very soft and I like it!
