    Found yesterday

Miniature hand made spinning wheel and interesting Chinese teapot that is filled from the bottom ... at 7½", it is just slightly smaller than the one outside of the YaoZhou kilns museum ;) (which is shown in last photo)

@quirkygirl that is a cool looking teapot! Is it meant to be used? What does the stopper look like?

That's a good question and I was wondering about it myself (whether it was made to be used) But, the original in the museum was from the Song Dynasty (960 - 1127) ... and I don't think they would make a non-functional teapot back then - but what do I know?

No stopper - the flower-shaped hole is the lower end of a ceramic tube that rises up nearly to the top of the pot ... I think you hold it upside-down to fill it and when set upright, the water is trapped inside. I haven't tried it out ... I have visions of scalding my hand with boiling water! (needless to say, if and when I do try it out, the trial runs will be with room temperature water) I can't even imagine how they would get tea leaves in (or out of) it!

I'm not finding a lot of info about it online, unfortunately.

You may have something quite good there.
I do wonder though since it has so much wear. Odd no one snagged it early on if was truly a bad stamping.

I think it has much wear. For example. Look at LIBERTY, AMERICA, DOLLAR and the rim.
