What kind of bird? Parrot? Bird of Prey? FAK Swedish Pewter

I know a fair amount about this covered candy jar (or bonbonjär...) It's been in the family for quite a while.

It's Swedish pewter from 1934, a 1933 FAK (Fabriksaktiebolaget Kronsilver) design by Nils Fougstedt. (I've found a couple like it on Swedish sites, but no mention of the bird.)

What I don't know is what kind of bird is perched up there on the top(???) Is it a bird of prey? A parrot? Something else?

I just can't decide what the bird has to do with the rest of the Swedish design.

The piece is about 6" tall, the bird about 1 1/4" top to bottom.

    Thanks for any input!

Wiki says the National bird of Sweden is a blackbird so maybe though the beak is different?

Thanks, SIS. That's what I was thinking when I came up with "parrot" - but then I started second guessing myself(!) The way it was made, it just isn't all that well defined, but still, it does have a curved beak:

Thanks for the ideas, everybody. So, why was I thinking a parrot? No real reason, I guess... Maybe these new photos help?

Looks like a parrot to me too, one of those with short, blunt tails, like an African Grey - and Swedes would have pet parrots...

As much as I like the idea of Odin's raven, another vote for parrot.

As this is a Scandinavian piece, obviously it's a Norwegian Blue, right?

I love John Cleese! The Fawlty Towers episode with Manuel and the Siberian hamster (rat) dodging the Health Inspector episode. A great laugh during lockdown.
