    Hello everyone,

I have been a busy busy bee.:wacky: I wanted to take a minuet and post the complete catalog for this months auction. I have to tell you I am excited about some of the items we have up right now. We have some neat things. Half of this stuff I would love to keep for myself but alas I can not. :( The catalogs not perfect but there just isn't enough hours in the day. Truth. Hopefully I will be able to hire some help soon. I have a feeling I am going to be needing it even more very soon.

We have over 500 lots  and many are starting at $1. All lots are open for bidding. The Live & Webcast Auction will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 1:05pm CST.

You're not kidding. I have had to pull some all nighters at the gallery taking photographs and rearranging furniture by myself with the help of some furniture dollies. Only to have to come home jump in the shower and head out to meet a client. LOL! I am exhausted. Overly. I need help so bad it isn't even funny. It amazes me what I will do in order to keep from working for someone else because lets face it I am not getting paid for this madness. At least not yet. One day. LOL!

I am pretty proud of how the gallery is looking right now. We are starting to look like a real live auction house. ;) Getting a little crowded.

My friend said the gallery looks like the showcase show down on The Price is Right with the car in there. LOL.

I have found the swords a bit surprising. I have to tell you I know nothing about swords. I have about 15 more that we consigned for the next auction.

The owner was so awesome he gave me a book all about swords and brought me a couple of pairs of special gloves for handling these swords. Apparently you can't touch some of these with your bare hands or you will leave a permenant fingerprint on them. Glad he told me. LOL. Some of these swords that he brought are as big as me. He said he has been collecting swords since before it was cool. LOL. Him and the wife are downsizing to travel so it's bye bye swords.

He made me a detailed list of what each one is. To top it off I got a short lesson in French vs German swordsmanship. LOL.

He even took the time to help me with identifying some of the ones we already had.

Kasperscuriosities, I'm wondering if "timing" might play a part in selling it.

Might want to "tie" an auction of that item to say two or three months before Mardi Gras. That would probably be enough time for someone to "make/coordinate" the rest of their costume with the style and color(s) of the headdress.

FYI, link below is to the future Mardi Gras dates (celebrations) in New Orleans. ;)
